Are you ready to learn how to safely identify, preserve and enjoy edible and medicinal plants & mushrooms in Ohio?
Enjoy a private guided hikethrough the forest in beautiful Northeast Ohio!
Guided Foraging Hikes are 2 hours. Where I host your experience is determined based on your needs, accomodations, interests, time of year and location.
Inclusivity is very important to me.
I am a mother to three beautiful children with special needs. I have over a decade of experience working with clients from all different walks of life. I am more than happy to tailor a guided hike to accomodate your needs (physically, sensory, etc).
Moonflower Apothecary is a “safe space”. Everyone is welcome and celebrated.
Who can sign up?
ANYONE! Whether you are just curious, a beginner, need a refresher or just want to reconnect with nature- you are welcome! You don’t need to have any previous education, knowledge or experience.
What does it cost?
Adults | $25
Youth | $10
Children under 10 | $5
Group of 10+ | $100
Group of 15+ | $200
*If you need me to accommodate a group larger than 15+, it requires me to hire an assitant for safety reasons. For this reason, there is an additional charge.
How do I schedule?
Email me your contact information, requested dates/times and any special requests/accomodations. I will contact you within 24 hours to reserve your date and location!
moonflower.apothecary.ohio@gmail.com
Refunds?
I do not offer refunds. Why? My guided foraging hikes are in high demand and require me to reserve a date that is unavailable for other clients. As a small business owner, I cannot afford to spend the time/gas/resources/cost of permits/etc that is required for someone to “no show” or cancel.
In the event that there is inclement weather (tornado, severe winds, lightning, torrential rain or a blizzard) the event will be cancelled and you will be given a gift card to use towards a guided foraging hike in the future.
If it is raining, hot, snowing, cold… We still go! Nature is- nature. Make sure you dress appropriately for the weather. I recommend bringing a water bottle, notebook and backpack.
