Guided Foraging Hike | July 11th

This event is 18+ ONLY!

Join me, Kate Cunningham (owner of Moonflower Apothecary) at Northeast Organics in Newton Falls, Ohio (a beautiful veteran & family owned farm) for a Guided Foraging Hike! Lexy & I are both passionate about community & wellness and we are excited to provide you with a magical experience! 

You will learn how to safely identify edible & medicinal plants and mushrooms in Northeast Ohio! You will learn how to ethically and responsibly forage and harvest wild food. We will also discuss the benefits (nutritional/medicinal/environmental), preperation & preservation, and creative fun ways to safely enjoy wild food!

Who can register? EVERYONE IS WELCOME! All bodies and abilities. All levels are welcome, however, most hikes are designed for beginners-intermediate levels. 

I recommend bringing a water bottle, notebook, something to write with, and a backpack. Please dress appropriately for the weather. 

Some of our hikes are all ages, women only or 18+ only. Please make sure you check the date you are registering for. If you are attending an all ages event, you MUST be present with your child (absolutely no dropping off your minor). 

Each guest will recieve a FREE gift as a token of appreciation!

*Please do not arrive more than 15 minutes early.

Important Information:

Moonflower Apothecary events are inclusive "safe spaces". I have a zero tolerance policy for anyone who is unkind or disrespectful to any member of the group, the host, etc. If you choose to not be kind, you will be asked to leave immediately and will not be given a refund. 

No pets, drug or alcohol permitted. If you are found with drugs or alcohol, you will be asked to leave immediately and will not be given a refund. 

I do not offer refunds.

Why? My guided foraging hikes require me to reserve a date that is unavailable for other clients. As a small business owner, I cannot afford to spend the time/gas/resources/cost of permits/etc that is required for someone to “no show” or cancel.

In the event that there is inclement weather (tornado, severe winds, lightning, torrential rain or a blizzard) the event will be cancelled and you will be given a gift card to use towards a guided foraging hike in the future.

If it is raining, hot, snowing, cold… We still go. Nature is nature. I promise we will have a great time- no matter the weather! 

This series of events is being offered at Northeast Organics in Newton Falls, Ohio. Guests will be given the exact location upon registration (the address will be emailed to you). All guests will be required to sign a consent form to participate. I am so fortunate to be collaborating with Lexy. Every guest must respect her property and all participants. No exceptions.
