This North Star Pendant was made using an antique sovereign case, also known as a pocket coin dispenser, from the early 1900s. This is a Edwardian/Victorian star-set locket design. They were designed to carry coins in a stylish and functional way without have change rattling in your pocket. 

This locket comes on a gold plated chain.
